He was a man who did what had to be done, and in the end the anime industry was better off for it.

He was instrumental in the creation of Robotech, the crazy Blackjack-level surgery of three anime productions into one US TV cartoon epic. And Robotech got a lot of folks into anime, including myself. He then went on to help found Streamline Pictures, where his crazy antics would continue on but brought us such greats as Akira, Fist of the North Star, and the original Vampire Hunter D. I just realized as I was printing out my schedule for UAH, that the MWF (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) English class I signed up for during the summer is now a TR (Tuesday, Thursday) class.

My work schedule is built around me having Tuesdays and Thursdays off.

They only offer this class on the Tuesdays and Thursdays block.

And here I thought I was the only one of my friends to not be screwed over by UAH lately.

My bad!

I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet. Except to be angry at myself for not discovering this sooner. And at UAH. Just because.
